Videopix did exactly what I asked for: capture still photos from my video screen. It allowed me to view the video frame by frame and select the still photo that I wanted to capture. It even allowed me to jump a couple frames in slow motion. It was so easy to use that I was able to figure it out without reading the instructions ( I did not even notice if it came with one). This not a great app: it is excellent!!!!

Update: Jan. 10/13 This app just got better! Now you CAN edit video & not just pull pictures from a video! Fantastic!!! I have used this app for quite some time now, & have been able to pull some great pictures from videos that I have taken. Thanks for an ingenious app & making it so easy to use. :-) This app a 5 star triple A quality!!! June 13/12: I noticed the reviews for this app and felt that the people who wrote reviews obviously werent getting the gist of what is meant to happen here. This is NOT an app to make slow motion videos, or for editing, or for high speed videos or whatever else people are thinking. This app is for being able to pull and make a PICTURE from a part of a video that was taken. I have used it for quite awhile now and love it!!! Heres an example: my wife & son were on a merry-go-round. Ever tried to take a action picture? Good luck! So I filmed them instead, THEN used videopix to find a great picture for my photo album. Perfect! No more blurred pictures!! Read the description properly please. This is an amazing app!! This deserves 5 star ratings if youre using right. P.S. - Yes, you can save it to your camera roll! You have always been able to do that.

Had this for a long time ill guess a few years maybe longer but its always been very good now with this latest version its top dog again.

It seems a good app but mine will not save, no matter how small I make the timeline.

Its equal to iMovie if not better it saves slow mo videos and makes photo memes the only reason I still have iMovie is that iMovie crops better other than that and I would be sad from buying iMovie

Worth the bucks. Works great to get perfect photo. Also u can add text and graphics to photos. Love it.

Ever tried to get that perfect action shot of your kid they never sit still and the pics are all blurry then you need this app its easy take a vid instead of a pic and find the perfect frame in your video and there you have it a perfect action shot

HD export, exact frame rate, ease of use. 5 out of 5!

This app works fine ... you just have to use it properly. Loads of fun ... Love it Ive always enjoyed video editing since the analog days, then on my PC, and now its great to have it in my iPhone!!

Does exactly what I wanted. Its not a big option editor but does the basic things with no glitches!

Since the last iOS update, anytime you edit a photo it crashes, it will not save the edit and actually kicks you out of the application. Also never 60 frames per second anymore. These issues turn a five-star app into a three star app FIX THIS PLEASE!

What a waste of money.. Should be refundable.
